Brenda has been involved in amateur theatre for many years, starting at Toynbee Hall in the 1960s, moving to Harlow and then to Roydon in the 70s. She became a member of Harlow Theatre Company, Heath Players, and The Roydon Players.
Over these years she has played many parts, and lately
has concentrated on directing.  Plays she has directed have included, for the HTC, The Importance of Being Earnest, My Mother Said I Never Should, Daisy Pulls It Off, Filumena, The Seagull, Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It, and earlier this year My Three Angels.  For The Roydon Players: Miranda, Hay Fever, and Blithe Spirit.
